A 1 de fevereiro de 2025, foi nomeado respons\u00e1vel pela nova <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Task<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> Force para a Habita\u00e7\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia, reportando ao Comiss\u00e1rio para a Energia e Habita\u00e7\u00e3o, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Dan<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">J\u00f8rgensen<\/span><span class=\"s5\">. \u00c9 tamb\u00e9m Diretor-Geral Adjunto na Dire\u00e7\u00e3o-Geral da Energia da Comiss\u00e3o Europeia (DG ENER).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">As Deputy Director-General in DG ENER, he was previously responsible for the Task Force phasing out Russian energy imports into the EU. He was Deputy Director-General in DG MOVE for 6 years, where he ran the Commission\u2019s Mission for 100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030, and also served as the EU coordinator for road safety and sustainable mobility. He has also served as Director for Aviation in DG MOVE, and Director for Market Access in DG Trade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">He has served in 3 cabinets: as Deputy Chef de Cabinet to Commissioner Lamy, in the Cabinet of President Barroso and as Chef de Cabinet to Commissioner Hill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><span class=\"s5\">His principal professional interests are in housing, energy, transport, trade, and fighting climate change. He has strong experience of working with cities in different dimensions and is a passionate believer in their capacity to deliver change for citizens.
